Hold on to who YOU are
A few years ago everything seemed different,
A lot of things have changed from then to now,
Seasons change, people lose their resemblance,
Ground turns barren, new walls rise up,
And the world contrast the past,
While the future lie within the coruscate.
But the sky sheathed in brume never does delude,
Bestowing the light on us and staying the same forever,
When it rains, the pitter patter feels the same everywhere,
The thunderbolts strike just as lucent as before,
The cool breeze reminds me the memories of blithe.
As the air fills up with a dewy petrichor of life,
The sky seems to rumble in a hushed tone,
"Maybe the change is for good so why not try and accept the unlikelihood?"
I was star struck with those words humming in my ears,
I realized that even if the seasons change or world seems to go astray,
The memories lie intact, and with them any place can be our abode.
