Just as we Know
Races are not to the Swift,
Nor the warfare to the strong
Neither yet Riches to the smart
Nor speed to men of skill
For time and chance
Happens to them all
As given by the Lord
Who in His infinite varieties
Reveals the wonders of His Grace
By our daily walk of Faith.

He was at her side
The heavens declared

Embedded in His
Wondrous glory
She became delivered

She found herself

Love is powerful

Outshine His light

Yea Love indeed

As a symbol of Love,
Revealing His naked heart,

A representation
Of Christ's perfect Love
For what love has

For His precious friends
Yea Love indeed

Blooming against all odds

By steadfast devotion

We are His beloved ones
And setting His beloved free
From her anxieties
That she may live
A perfect life of bliss

The burdens of sins

From her miseries
In spite of all her frailties
Despite the tar

The apple of His eye
She has become

I love standing in the light of God's love,
For it endures forever,
For the promise that neither things present nor those to come,

It's reminiscent of a child in the arms of loving mother,

Dear Christian,
When you stumble, fall and hesitate to stand up.
Remember that the ground on which you lie is the very ground you fought hard to stand on.
You failed to do that on your own.
But Jesus came to your rescue and He lifted you from the ground.
He became a pillar so you could stand. He guided each and every one of your steps. Paving the path and lighting the way. The road was wide, for use by all. Yet Christ thought of you and made a sidewalk.
He walked with you patiently during your baby steps. And He stayed by your side as you progressed.
He made you right and took what was left.
You are a prize to Him, not a victim of theft. His love for you is sempiternal and not bereft.
You can still call out to Him.
He will help you stand up again, pick up where you left off, and regain your strength.
The race is still on.
And with Christ as your partner in the faith marathon;
Consider your victory, already won.

Home sick.
What a vague, foreign
Idea or concept.
Hard for me to relate to.
Simple. Straight forward.
It's name, self explanatory.
But not to me
Or with my sense of
The world and life.
I carry my home with me.
Ive made my own home.
Carved it carefully out of years of lonely praying.
Its in my heart.
It goes where I go.
It's never far from my mind.
I can pull it up anytime.
It's just as sacred to me
As to my neighbor.
But only ive been in it.
Only ive seen it.
But this home sickness thing
That others have spoken of
I dont quite understand it.
Homesick they say is a feeling
A state of mind, an emotion.
Vauge. Yearning. Eery
Like being in the driver's seat,
And closing your eyes
or for a dare being blindfolded to let
someone else drive
take control of the wheel
You control the gas and speed
But they are the only ones
With eyes that are seeing.
No thank you to that.
I like to be in control.
I know what im doing
and all the reasons why
I know what to expect
By what I do, and know also where I'm going
without a doubt
because of where I have
been in my past.
I am very self aware and woke
And know what limits
my body and psyche
can and cannot handle
My emotions arent the ones
That I allow to be in control.
If I mess up, like we all do
From time to time.
I want to be the only one
At fault or responsible
That my concisious can find.
My heart is my home
And my memories its fireplace
That keeps things just right
Nothing out of its proper place
No one else here, just me.
Noone else to be mad at
On which to place the blame.
And that helps keep me safe
No regrets. No guilt.
Just lessons Ive learned
And growth
seen by my own sense of strength.
Gathering and harnessing
Any fear, shame, or guilt
And forcing it to comeforth
Like a naughty child
Put in the corner or spanked.
They quickly learn what no is
And will change the next time
By growing and learning
From my own mistakes
And accomplishments.
Correction is good when it
Teaches the lesson right.
By bringing the wrong doing
Into full understanding
Of your own responsibility and the hand that you played.
Confident in knowing that
Within my heart
will always be,
Unconditional love and acceptance
Facts and loyalty.....
That place that seems to be what people long for
when they say they
Feel alone and miss home.
So safe, to run back too
Where you never feel unwanted
or made to feel ashamed
or disgraced.
Unconditional hugs, kisses
and warm embraces. Encouragement
To grow into ourselves
Home is in the heart
Not the other way around.
The heart inside you
Is where that longing for
Should come from.
The heart, it's part in
this is strong.
Its pliable and will travel
Keep up with your pace
And slow down at night
But always be there beating.
Comforting in its rhythmic
Song and pulsatile warmth.
So why ive never come to know
Someone else quite like me.
That carries that home inside
There heart for themselves
is one of life's big mysteries.
Why let your heart feel sick? Why miss your home at all?
Why limit yourself and you're life
To something outside,
that you can't control
A building, a structure, a person somewhere else
That will eventually die
Or fail you.....
Homesick as a concept to me is so vague
With love already so full
Of uncertainty and danger
Why leave your heart in a home so far away?
When you already know you
Want to always be close to it?
I keep mine always with me
So I dont know what
its like to feel that,
This homesickness mood
but its bringing both of us down now because I keep company with you
And because its something that you are feeling
And you can't be like me
Youve chosen to give your heart up
To a place that your body doesnt have to be.
