in the gulls you see flying out your window
knowing where the christmas lights are up first
it's the park bench where lovers tip-toe
and fountains with synchronized spurts
it's knowing the graffiti alley,
the secret skaters haunt
Home is stumbling upon an age old brownstone
whilst an afternoon jaunt
Home is more than the people,
more than the four walls of your digs
come fall in love with your city
it's a love, without the risk!

Divya Bharti, the girl who gave back to back hit films like Deewana , Rang , Geet etc. and died (in fact murdered) just at the age of 19...
Kangana Ranaut who struggled so hard for being in Bollywood without any godfather ...we all might be aware about it ....her escape from her apartment, the police case , the blackmails etc.
Aishwaraya Rai's career came to an end just after she left Salman Khan.
And currently , Arijit Singh has been banned in the Bollywood.
Sushant Singh Rajput signed 9 movies after Chichore and all were taken back from him..he was made to return the signing amount and also pay some kinda interest of around 90lakhs ...
Each of the actor surviving in Bollywood has a god father ..may it be Alia Bhatt or Amitabh Bachchan or Ritik Roshan...
This is the ironical reality of Bollywood.Isn't the things enough !!!????
Isn't it now necessary to comprehend the reality that we are witnessing but still ignoring ...
Like seriously guys ???...We give so much of money to the hypocrite directors and actors who are nothing but just sinners ?????

- the_quote_queen @connoisseur_of_pain being banned doesn't mean that he won't get any song... Sushant Singh Rajput was also banned but still he was making a film whose shooting was paused due to lockdown ....and no one said that arijit Singh is banned and I don't think anyone there would say it openly ....some of the interviews of certain people who have the connection with Bollywood ..are there on Facebook ...and I got to know about arijit singh from there

Meri jaan Mumbai, meri shaan Mumbai they scream.
Yes, you have seen many dreamers.
But do you have the strength to harbour one more?
Will you be kind to me as unto others?
Or will my name get lost like the countless unnamed who come to you with light in their eyes..
But, sleep tired & hopeless with tears by the night.
Or will you become a happy surprise that fills me with hope & delight?
I write this, scared out of my mind, thinking how will I survive this city?
But then, they call you city of dreams for a reason.
So, somewhere I hope you'll treat me right,
& as the clock ticks by, it'll be alright.

In that unpredictable rain of Mumbai,

two hearts destined to collide ,
With that dripping drop of water on their face enhanced beauty of their melting hearts,
that love of rain watered two loving hearts,
the flower of love bloomed irrespective of fact that :

Roots.
Remember who you were, before who you are right now. Remember people who have been there before you jump up at new relationships. Remember old memories while you make new ones. Remember where you came from.
If one forgets their roots, the strengths that enabled them, the people who were truly there, used all the help but have no gratitude or rememberance ;
If one can only see oneself and things associated to self, and cannot appreciate the bigger picture or have a birds eye view ;
If one treats another with disrespect or takes another for granted, always thinks of self as right no matter what ;
If one takes the concept of living in the moment too literally, forgetting everything that was ever there in the past ;
One denies self of all the important lessons, of all the truly memorable moments and of a chance to be a decent, kind human being. And in the process affects others unjustly!
Sometimes knowingly or even unknowingly being hurtful cannot be excused.

What do I write or say about this city which is not written or said yet? Well that's difficult, because Mumbai is such a place about which a lot is said. But I can surely say what is Mumbai for me.
Today when I left the city, I realized all that I dislike about it is actually what I think I will miss the most about it. The crowded local train, the traffic, the irregular constructions and the loud talks of the people. These are the things that Mumbai is imfamously famous for. From past few days whenever the old train came, the Best bus was late, the horns were loud on the road, I didn't get irritated but actually smiled. Smiled thinking that these things will be missed.
I think what Mumbai teaches us is how to adjust, hurry yet be good at your task. The life is fast, the day passes quickly. But in this busy life, we each and everyday learn a lot. The adjustment for that fourth seat in trains, the rejection of the auto rickshaw drivers, the argeement with the road side hawkers, the argument with the rash drivers, all these things make us learn.
Each day many people come to this city of dreams with a lot of expectations. And the city whole heartedly absorbs them.
My life, my dreams, my world, my people, my experiences, my city is my Mumbai.
There are countless number of things which I will miss. I don't know yet how this new city will be. But I will always be a proud Mumbaikar by heart.

The Peace & Religious Harmony It Keeps,
Like One Big Branched Family.
The Local Trains It's Lifeline,
Buses It's Support- Secondary.
Where Lives Are So Entwined,
As The City is one small country.
Year On Year, Nature's Wrath Upon Us,
Would Dwindle Our Work And Masterplan.
But Whatever May Be The Problem Or Fuss.
It's Always For Me, Mumbai Meri Jaan!
