Like a tidal wave of sadness
Seeping through my soul
Fire in my eyes and blood on my hands

When my veins ran cold
And my thoughts scattered into oblivion

When I lost control and begged to be set free
Each passing second like an eternity
Filled with sorrow and anguish

Not a man of lies, just afraid
"You'd be a nice subject to study"
'coz she just walked away in oblivion,
he knew why ?, he saw.
What else would he say? others would get to know.
Walking down the streets of the dull city,
he knew, she was not with us.
He hoped, if she would.
Faces changing, in front of her,
she'd reply, this is the one, believe me,
then defending him,
even if he is expired
On one stop of the street,
we fancied full bellies,
she passed, she does not eat life....hush!!
The whole day, expecting the right time,
he thought maybe, he should confess,
she has a new face though,
rather not be a face, he thought.
He's not a man of lies, he never spoke,
he's just afraid.

"Who"... to be... "Me"...
But none of the "Who's" fit right...
They felt like jeans worn too tight...
Cutting into me...
Taunting me...
Mocking me...
Stalking me...
Suffocating me...
Choking independence...
From me...
I couldn't breathe...
Because I just wanted to be me...
Whoever that might be...
I couldn't find the me in the "Who's"...
So... I stopped looking...
And, I began to find the me, in me...

I wasn't lost...

एक हैं त्रिलोकपति, दूजे बने छत्रपति ।
एक कर रहे बुराई का संहार,
दूजे ने दिया हिंदुत्व को आधार ।
एक कैलास में बैठे डमरू बजाए,
दूजे ने शिव-सेना में शंखनाद करवाये ।
एक ने मस्तक पर चंद्रमा साजे,
दूजे ने ललाट पर चंद्रबिंदु बनाए ।
एक ने त्रिनेत्र की अग्नि से दुष्ट भस्माये,
दूजे ने तलवार से मुगलों के छक्के छुड़ाए ।
एक ने किया विष का पान,
दूजे ने स्वराज्य हेतु दी जान ।
एक देवों के देव महादेव कहलाये,
दूजे मराठा सम्राट छत्रपति कहलाये ।।
