To see the innocence through my charms
To protect me when I am disarmed
To feel safe and sound
I am desperate for this love to be found.

Favorite
I know I am not your favorite, I know I am not even liked. You treat me so different almost with hatred, the way you look at her with so much love. It burns in my heart cause I thought I mattered. But I never did. Everything she does is so perfect, but if I ever did the same thing I am disgusting. I wish I died maybe then I would matter just a little.

And so desperate we are, stealing air for breathless kisses and losing breath for soulless talks.
Oh so desperate we are, that even memories make up for long lost connections and forgotten goodbyes.
That each breath we take in feels like a friend and each exhale either an enemy or a lost game.
So when someone comes with a smile and a name, we open up our hearts and imagine a communion.
We think of late night conversations on beaches and rides and walks with a new relationship.
And we give a tag to what we share like it's something to give away, a use and throw that we never needed.
Define eachother like the friends we are so we know we're here once we've walked away
So bloody desperate we are for opening our hearts to what we are than to with whom we are.
So when we look back we recall the nights spent on teracces gazing at the stars and rides to where we've decided to eat
We remember the sarees and kurtas we wore and feel anew the blushes on our cheeks
We feel everything and know everyone around us and connect with them.........only so we're not alone and care to spare a smile.
Desperate indeed.
