The Last Promise
You sat with me in the balcony shutting the doors behind those noice, I lighted a cigarette to clear the air of voices that surrounded my thought like a black veil, you swung a bottle for me to take a sip, I grabbed the opportunity to sit back.
I wanted to tell you how it felt to keep back my exploding reverie, it really was a dark night as you talked about her for moments to come, I chose to keep silent to listen what you brought, my reverence died as escaped frizz from a bear bottle, I drank again to keep me sane to not let my wandering thoughts capture the darkness, all I saw was the pulsating vein that throbbed on your sides of the head, the moon was shivering from cold that night as the haze took cover of its light, you held my hand with your dead numb fingers entwining between mine and gazed directly into my eyes.
As the warmth spread between our entangeld soul, you spoke
"Keep this promise for life, what I said now, let it drown below the sea of memories and never brim it up again".
I kept my 'Last Promise' but only for that night.
