माना नहीं है संभव अभी,
हो एकत्र एक जगह सभी,
पर इसमें भी है समझ नयी,
ज़रा दिल खोल कर समझो तो सही!
समझना है दिवाली का असल अर्थ,
लक्ष्मी को न करके व्यर्थ,
पावन मन से दीप जले,
जीवन से हो दूर अनर्थ!
पटाखों से न प्रदूषण होगा,
शांत मनोहर वातावरण होगा,
बेशक़ लोगो की भीड़ न होगी,
पर मन में तो सच्चा आगमन होगा!
दिखावे का त्यौहार नहीं,
दिलों का हर वार हो,
वाक़ई में मन के रावण जले,
हर घर अब राम हो!
नया ये भी नया वो भी,
सब कुछ नया तो ले आते है,
त्योहारों के नाम पर,
असल में बस दिखावा अपनाते है!
आओ मनाये इस वर्ष दिवाली,
हर दिल में जगे एक ज्योत निराली,
दिखावों से दूर मानवता की लाली,
घर-घर फैले रंगीन खुशहाली!
दीपों की लड़ियों से,
हसीं की फूलझड़ियों से,
मन की मिठास से,
पवित्र प्रेम की प्यास से,
गणेश लक्ष्मी के वास से,
राम-सीता के साथ से,
दिया बाती के प्रकाश से,
एकता के अटूट विश्वास से,
कुरीतियों के नाश से,
दुष्टों के विनाश से,
अपनों के एहसास से,
रिश्तों की मिठास से,
आओ मनाये एक नयी दिवाली,
एक नयी सोच के आगाज़ से!
