Peace she was!
I remember that day when,
We had first met as two tiny buds of ten,
Half a dozen years back that was,
When our lives had crossed a path.
Together we walked down the path,
For so long, though we yearn for more.
Amidst the wilderness, I had fallen,
A few times, but you pulled me up.
You lightened up the place.
Along those century long dark nights,
When you were my companion,
Nothing seemed painful.
But now that time has passed by,
We had to take turns.
Too far now, miles apart,
Yet too close by heart.
Peace, meant your name,
Peace you were to me.
With all my heart, I believe
One day the paths will cross again.
