The people don't seem to understand
That even before time itself, we were born to be of different colours
Our manes were created from different birds and feathers
We're like rainbows, we appear under the weathers
But nobody really sees our true colours until the rain falls onto their umbrellas
And the sun shines from behind the dull grey clouds of prayers
A day when there's really no room for all of our fears.
We, the red and the green and the purple
What's so different about us? We're simply another colour.
Don't you see how we're always holding hands?
Don't you see the seven colours in the rainbows united as one?
Why can't we be like that?
Be free souls scattered around the globe,
United every time the rain stars to pour from the sad skies.
United every time the sun shines its rays of light on our beautiful cries.
So let me tell you something;
You can be black or white or orange or brown,
You can be of any colour, because the rainbow never discriminates.
Just be a human at heart, a fallen angel in soul, a devil with your jokes, and a happy lil frown.
Because no colour in the rainbow has ever gone unnoticed.
We all stand a chance against the storm if we're all holding hands, united as one.
Just like a rainbow.
