All my life to get a grade
Red letters topping every page
To get an "A" my day was made
In pleasing those five times my age

You, your smile feels like the morning cup of coffee, that made my day.. Your eyes like the sun rays on a cold winter morning and your hair like a calm flowing river.. Yet you say I've never been in love.
You, who looks strong from outside but seeks arms of comfort everytime something disturbs you. I can see clearly behind your smile that you put infront of the world. I can see behind the hugs that you give and your wish to get one as well.

It's been so long that now every text, every song reminds me of something.
I still remember your touch on my coffee cup and sometimes I just hold it in my hands, thinking it is your hand.
When you were asleep, I captured you in my phone, your slightly smiling sleeping face, your weird hair and your lips that I want to kiss again.
The things you touched, the spot that we danced on because it was your favourite song playing on Spotify are now so special to me that you can't imagine.
I remember when you woke up before me and made breakfast for me and trust me, that's the best breakfast I ever had.
Yes, the cuddles do make my arm go numb but it's worth it, I would take a numb arm over your absence any day.
It's been 2 months and we both don't know how long it will take before we meet again, but let's make this work. Let's work to make all these events and everyday routine for us.
