When fog rolls in complicating the view
First thought to blame others, instead try to look inside you
Old hurts left unresolved, emotional landscape in tatters
Determinated to inspect and heal what matters
Feelings should never be ignored or shelved
Can't be destroyed, denied or detached from but held
To the light of love for we are all worthy
Made to desire unconditional love to feel happy
Only this love doesn't come from any outside source
This kind of care must be born from an internal resource
Self care is the key to resolving humanity's pains
What irritates us about others is sitting in shadows beneath lying in vain
Stuffed down, denied then projected outwards in an attempt to mistreat
The person we are hurting is ourselves, blind in seeing
Emotionally scarred, denied understanding and love
Next time you seek to judge, take a minute to see
Is what bothers something that lives within me?
What we really are upset about is a lack of love from within
Refused caring, now blistering beneath awaiting acceptance
The process of reparenting our souls, healing our inner child
Each one of us is deserving of love

Intentions
I wish people could see intentions with just a passing glance,
that there were a clear view from outside eyes at what lies within ,
that first impressions were made of what a hearts holds dear, of the life that we've lead, the beliefs that we carry, even of our fears,
how much better life would be... if our true self could be seen,
if a good man need not battle with judgemental views,
if a monster couldn't hide in a designer suit.
If breaking hearts and spirits as a hobby or a game couldn't be so easily hidden behind a chipper laugh and a charismatic way,
The world would be so much more humane if we no longer possessed what it takes to hide it all away...
if good men weren't trapped inside their own skin
if Evil wasn't hidden away, deceptively labeled as gentlemen

For I keep getting bad vibes from you I don't know what your intentions are but I'm feeling like it isn't good
For I don't want to cause harm but that charm isn't fooling me cause I know your intentions
For I feel a tension when I'm around and I don't know if I should question it or pay any attention to it
For its cause I'm trying to give protection to my friends from the impression you made before but I am not quite sure
For I feel like your intentions aren't good I'm not trying to make the wrong impression
For the tension I feel when I'm around you you wouldn't comprehend which why I'm wondering what your intentions may be
For maybe I shouldn't pay attention to you but the tensions are high so how could I do that?
For I know there's a prevention for this which is why I'm asking these questions

Wish to seek respite in your shelter,
Those lush greenfields of your garden,
Reminds me of my hometown lanes,
Walking under blinking twinkling hazy,
Night sulking on the country roads lonely,
Wishing some company now that you're,
Here take me to your place of escape,
From worldly affairs where there's no,
Needs no wishes only a blatant urge to,
Live life way it should be to breathe to,
Eat to live and leave it's a dream of mine,
To perform not for the audience enjoying,
Out of my life like its entertainment no,
It ain't the ball's never always in thy court,
There's someone serving charging balls,
Seeking indictment of yours off the court,

How hard you try to climb the ladder's always,
Short of places where you could exist might,
In peace in love devoid of painful breaking,
Of hearts as I come with wisdom to you,
From my old pain stricken memories of,
Experience with nothing to ask for just your,
Company to let me breathe like I used to,
When I was seven nothing to lose living days,
In hush hush of friends nights in warm rooms,
Sipping my cup of milk lost in translation of,
What I think and what I speak so many,
Questions and answers to ponder upon but,
That curious insight lost in textbook blindly,
Reiterating following hands and voices,
Running away from mine comprehension,
In wafer thin air how was I supposed to feel,
My pain when I had no one to share but I,
Found your company soothing and sincere,
Hope I hadn't blown up what we had as I,
Come to you again having travelled all those,
Lonely days again wishing your friendship,
Sitting in the garden reminiscing bygone days,
For I've a lot to tell perhaps too many tales,
