Everyone will forget me ;
just like the changing weather..
Oh ! dear love ! after my death ;
We won't be together...
On my funeral; some people will genuinely cry...
While some will give a dramatic try..
No matter world will forget your queen bee ��..
but I want only you to remember me��..
I'll be the 'Air' ; reading poetry of our reminiscence...
I'll be your basket; full of metaphors, in essence..
Among weeping fireflies ;
I'll be a mockingbird singing lullaby breakfree..
See, the bright night star at skyline; Ahh! that's me..
I'll be alive there ; in my family's optimistic soul..
They'll tell you that ; I was diamond in mine of coal..
I would love to live life ;

Read MoreFront of the mirror
Oh ! There I was,
Standing in front of the mirror
Looking at my 8-year-old clone
And asking her,
Who am I?
Why am I on this Earth?
Am I one of God's soldiers?
Buzzing up with these questions
I gradually grew up .
Then, I stood in front of the mirror
Asking my 13-year-old twin
What should I become when I grow old?
Or is age just a cause for
delaying what I can do right at this moment?
And just like that,
I grew a bit more rustier,
Losing my friskiness,
Getting ignored by my classmates.
And now, standing in front of the mirror
I see my 16-year-old look alike
Having the exact expression as mine.
I ask her,
Will I leave an impact in anyone's heart,
If I leave this world right at this moment?
Will I bring a smile on someone's face,
If they ever remember me?
Will people sense my presence
In my paintings and stories?
And of course at this moment I know the answer
To the questions that I had asked before.
I have a part to play on this Earth
And I have decided to become a person
Who can completely justify humanity,
Such that people can always remember me as
The best human in this world!!!!

Memorable Me
My grandmother died twenty years ago
Leaving me in possession of something
She couldn't write down- her Life.
"Don't make a human being your aim",she wrote
for they are a part of your life
In big and small ways,
Strangers and friends,
Lovers and spouse(s),
Are all a part of the piece; that's you.
"Are you doing what only you can do best?"
with that sentence she kept me wondering more
Of the woman she had been-
reticent yet rebellious; docile yet dominant,
In kitchen,home,workspace,
With one and all who's life she touched
People who still doted on her absence,
Like a wildflower that had lost fragrance.
Or how she had run away from India
Hounded by family and friends for marrying
a man they called a 'dalit'.
My grandfather calls me by her name,
Speaking to me as if I knew as much as she
About love. About kindness. About sorrow.
"Love, but don't you die loving! Love isn't meant to push you into dying." Instead she talked about loving the self; mistakes,regrets,loneliness
and other parts a woman is proud of hating.
She wrote of Gods,fathers and sons
But entrusted her voice only to me-granddaughter-woman.
"And if it's a different path you're taking, not knowing-wrong or right....Would you still be okay if it was a mistake?"
'Rhea' that was her name,
And in her lineage of words,memory and story
I found the courage to be
Another "Memorable Me."

When it's time ,
To leave the earth
Demises has its own worth,
Suddenly world staretd praising you,
Exactly...
Your deeds as you do,
But if almighty asked me
How i wanna be menorised,
Then it will be getting little surprised,
All I just wanted
To be memorable as a kind hearted person,
Who's always there
Besides you...
Memorise me as a good friend,
So,when you cry
It's only my shoulder which is bend,
Memorise me as a good daughter,
Who makes her parents feel proud,
Memorise me as a memer,
Who makes you laugh out loud,
Memorise me as a best sister,
Who teaser her brother
Like no one other,
Memories me as a good wife,
Who can make his life thrive,
Memorise me as a good mother,
Who used to be her children's pride,
And at last,
Just memorise me for who I am,
Who is imperfect
But always loves her fam......

LOST SOUL
There lives a small child within me,
Who wants back those memories
that fades away.
the child who is missing,
the precious moments of his life
Bed time stories,
that mamma narrates,
and long stays at Nana's place
All the crazy hours,
spent in playing games
The ghostly stories,
that make us all cringe
When chand raats
were spent on the roof,
To see the sight
of the moon
When Eid was not just
the mere festive,
Counting your Eidi multiple times
and still not believe
A life carefree,
there was nothing to worry
While making shapes in the clouds
and finding stars in the sky
with small fears and
dreams so high
How came the time run so fast?
Why I'm loosing the precious moments
of my past?
Why can't I hold them tight,
All the people who were once alive.

In this moving life race,
Yet me sitting for a moment in pace.
Every second passing
By, and I still keep missing
Him..staying up all night in my room,
Looking through the glass windows over the gloomy moon.
I guess, the moon too lost its enormous shine,
Just as I lost him...the only sweetheart of mine.
All while being alone
Still lookin' at his pictures in my phone
There are things that I wanna share only him
And I now realise, life without him seems indeed dim.
I know that's someday he won't surely be reading this
And know, all I did was only miss.
In this moving life race,
Yet me sitting for a moment in pace.
I find around me beautiful ambience
But I always and forever will yearn for his presence.
