That gaping hole which leaves behind such a hollowness in your entire being that you start becoming habituated to that gnawing of the core of your soul everytime you think of all those moments you spent - mindlessly, making thousands of happy memories, seeing eternities together, sitting quietly on a railway platform on a cloudy day just to feel the wind caressing your being....that little something which keeps you agitated, unsettled, curious, withdrawn, desolate and various shades of lost, while trying to function ordinarily - days through days and night after every silly night....
That is what losing your closest friend tastes like.
