Going to the barbershop
Up ahead at 6 am,
The birds are chirping on the electric tree,
Monday morning on a sunrise bliss,
Dad's are barking,
Children jumping like Bunny's hopping.
Michelle's garage says shop close till 8 in the morning,
Tiny Tina idling infront hoping to catch her soulmate grace,
Keeping there love secret from all,
But who will tell them everyone knows about their doodling,
On the beach,
On the tree,
Hanging around behind the balcony.
Oh, it's glorious Monday,
The sun came up for the early risers,
Sunny Lane zapping up the sunshine,
Who would you tell No one's the wiser,
Butterscotch on the Margaret Morning,
Drunken bastards slipping behind the shed,
Oh, it's a glorious Monday.
Michelle came out of the shop wearing a black top,
Tina twirl her hair untill it came to a stop,
People pause in the marketplace and then went on their way,
Tina went toward Michelle wanting to say,
Michelle step backward already know what that may,
Tiny Tina hesitated one last drop,
grabbed Michelle's hand,
And storm inside turning the shop sign outside.
Oh, it was the same sunny Monday on the Sunny Lane,
Bird sipping on Margaret drinks,
People loitering around like garbage sink,
But something was out of ordinary that day in Sunny Lane,
Michelle shop was close for the day.
