लड़-झगड़ कर जन्मा है मुझको मेरी मां ने..,
ए समाज तुम्हारे हर ताने का हिसाब रखती हूं।
जन्म से पहले मुझे मिटाने की ख्वाहिश रखते हो.,
मत भूलो..,मै ही सृजन करने की शक्ति रखती हूं।।
मेरे पंख कुतरना चाहते हो तो कुतर दो..,
मै जमीं पे रहकर उड़ने का हौसला रखती हूं।
मत भेजो चाहे तुम मुझे शिक्षालय...,
मै खुदमे गहरे समंदर सा ज्ञान रखती हूं।।
खौफ नहीं मुझे अब इस हैवानी दुनिया से..,
अब मै भी जुबां पे गाली और पर्स में तेजाब रखती हूं।
चुप हूं.., मुझे खूंटे से बंधी गाय मत समझना..,
मै तुम्हारे हर सवाल का हाज़िर जवाब रखती हूं।
मै लड़की होशियार सी..,
खूदमे मुकम्मल सा खिताब हूं।
नकाब पहनकर तुम मेरे चेहरे को जलाने आते हो..,
और मै बेनकाब होकर अपने चेहरे को इंकलाब करती हूं।

आज खिलौना खलनायक है कभी एक गुड़िया भी था
आज लगी है जंग मगर ये सोने की चिड़िया भी था
खा गए हमको लूट लूट कर और किया है ऐसा भी
हमे तोड़ कर कुछ लोगों ने खुद का उल्लू सीधा भी
लेकिन मोती तो मोती थे बिखर जाने के बाद भी
