A decalcified mollusk seeks refuge within the calm of a ravishing storm.
A translucent deformity, a sanctuary, a secret world it creates & does form.
Destined to be tumbled amongst the shore, it bonds with a complex & lustrous vibe.
A coven of organisms deciphering stars, filtering life, an elite type of tribe.
Untouched & vibrant it flows with harmony during its productive silent wait.
Knowing the hands of time introduce their
gifts as well as an untimely & unauthorized fate.
Predators invade to lay claim to all its priceless worth & for what it can conceal.
A crowbar, a chisel, pryed, pulled & yanked, an invasion that is uncomfortably real.
Deprived of tranquil essence, it is unjustly disturbed by this intrusive & outside force.
Grateful for its necessary existance, the sands of time interfere, diverting it from due course.
Jaded, yet hopeful. Does it relinquish it's journey & accept this invitation of despair & doom?
Trapped within its core, nourishment, multiple treasures & possible prospective gloom.
To be tasted, it warrants, expulsion from the loins of unsuspecting foe upon which it will feed
Never taken for granted, a warning expelled, an endeavor we should always respectfully heed.
For what? A dare? A story? Lucky are those who survive; crippled & left to speak.
Do we discard the remnants? A blatant disregard for the shell of one so small & kindly meek.
Tight lipped it was split open. A cluster of pearls ripped & stolen from its slimy flesh.
Taken from a mirky haven, brackish, salty, yet it lives to keep surroundings fresh.
Selfish, ignorant beings, it's sustenances, they swallow down juicy & sometimes raw.
Meant to be delightfully savored, a gluttonous species experiences this superbly hidden flaw.
Rebellious in nature, it chooses the habitat in which it shall wish to dwell.
A power unknown, it can embody a parasitic reaping, straight from the pits of hell.
How dare they infiltrate its resistance, a chance taken...perhaps filled with deadly woe.
You must think twice, before opening up your mouth, a penalty it might & will humbly bestow.
Make sure to test the water for it removes impurities you can't see, but you surely wont ever forget.
Whether it be hunger, lust or sheer carelessness, this outcome/faux pas you may unconsciously live to regret.
