Running in circles this whole time
And not once did we acknowledge each other.
Until now, that is.
First our eyes met, connected.
Then our hearts were bleeding for each other,
Beating rapidly and speeding up its pace.
Now we're running from each other,
All because we are scared.
We pull away from each other far too soon,
Wishing on shooting stars and sometimes talking to the moon,
Hoping our heartbeats eventually synchronize,
Waiting for the right time to run in circles together.
"Four leafed clover, over and over."
