क्या सच क्या दिलासा है,
हर एक कामिल
बस एक ख्वाब रुआंसा है,
एक कतरे की तलब है
बस एक ज़र्रा प्यासा है।
ये प्यास है तेरी दीद की
कुछ और नहीं चाहिए,
तेरा अक्स हो आँखो में
मुझे बस यही चाहिए,
सीने की ठंडक के लिए
तेरा होना ही काफी है,
नहीं तेरे सिवा उस पल
कुछ और होना चाहिए।
तेरी हँसी सी कली
न कोई बहारों में हो,
तेरी आँखों की कशिश
न कहीं सितारों में हो,
जब भी सोचूं मैं तुम्हें
नज़रों के सामने देखूं,
दुनिया में नहीं न सही
तुम मेरे नज़ारों में हो।

खून पसीने की इबादत से,
बहुत बनाया और खोया हमने।
सीनेसे लगाया तुम्हें,
प्यार से नवाजा हमने।

ACT your age kid, you shouldn't!
You're 16 and need to get high?
ACT your age!
What kind of example are you setting for small kids?
29 and need a fix?
ACT your age!
You should know better than to kill yourself with smoke!
Ten years old wanting to be independent because mommy won't buy you the candy you like?
ACT your age kid! You're just a K-I-D!
21 and feeling you're an adult?
Capable of taking life by the heels!?
ACT you age!
You're too young to know any better!
32, married and with kids?
Independent and headstrong-
But needing a break from your daily life?
ACT your age!
You've got mouths to feed!
And children who look up to you!
ACT your age!
A society built on rules,
A life set on a pre-destined Path,
Judgement at every nook and corner;
Predefined steps to take...
No one can deviate,
No one can deter,
Straight is the Path set.
You just need to Conform to its rules,
Orthodox as they may be.
ACT your age!
Because in the end-
This world views everyone with a Predefined notion set in stone ages ago...
So all we can do is act and obey,
Be a cog in the machine,
A neverending wheel in this giant circle.
Because if we stray and be outcasts-
How then will we know what to do?

When born, I don’t know
Who grasp me for the first time?
But I want to fondle that
Warmth, one more time!
Enjoyed coloring walls, playing dolls
Walking blind capering with chime.
But, I want to endure that
Girlhood, one more time…
During school, compelling or dreary
Attended the lectures every time.
But I want to aspire that
Practical, one more time.
Holding hands, passing smiles
Don’t want to recall the old times.
But I want to be that...
Lover, one more time!
