We walk together,
On the streets
Of Paris,
Under the beam
Of the moonlight,
The chilling breeze
Blowing by,
The street lamps
Shining in glory.
He walks closer,
Gently interwines
His pinky finger
With mine,
Chuckling
Like a kid,
With imaginations
On cloud nine,
And cheeks
Turning roses.
We stare
At the beauty
Of the Eiffel Tower,
Shining
With lights,
Twinkling
Like stars.
Suddenly,
He gives
A soft peck
On
My bunny like cheek,
And looks away
In a jiffy.
He giggles silently,
Embarrassed,
And waving
His dark hair.
He then
Looks into my eyes,
That could speak
The language
Which he couldn't.
He slowly
Leans closer,
His warm breath
Hitting my cold face.
He shuts his eyes
And gently
Presses his lips
Against mine.
His cold hands
On
My wavy black hair,
Trying to trick
My senses.
I then embrace
His manly shoulders
And his grip
Then deepened
And so
Did our love.

The more I drink this Cold Brew, the more aches settling in
These days everything seem to be bitter
Here I am, with my half fixed heart and the rain slowly flood the road
It must have been the tears I failed to shed

A TRIP TO PARIS
An awaited journey
That got you feeling lonely
Even though you wanted to make a good memory
You felt neglected when others departed
Not even a word from those that promised
Just sad days left for you to say
When shall it be that day
I know we don’t have to keep our hopes and trust in people but
The day is here
And it’s time for me to share
My experience and memories of there
That gave me goosebumps
A lovely adventure that got me
Saying OMG
Paris a dream come true
Though I didn’t have flue
And all I knew was bonjour
Got a new tour guy
Who said I’m looking fly
Mhern it was like I’m an angle in the sky
When i felt like royalty in the Palace of Versailles
Seeing those beautiful gardens
That got me mersmerized
Asking myself whether I’m still alive
He said yes Mademoiselle
He took me on a boat
Enjoying a cruise on the Seine
Getting a lovely view of the Eiffel Tower
Notre Dame and many more
I was speechless because this was priceless
I didn’t feel restless because it was my favorite place ❤️

"Paris, there's something in its air"
I wonder as the cold breeze
blows through my air
Sitting in these little chairs
Of this familiar cafe
Amidst all the whispers of love and despair
I can't help but wish for a man quite debonair
Who would sweep me off my feet
So i won't need anymore romantic skits
Giving up on the daydreams
Which are quite in vain
I continue reading my novel
That's written in braille
Suddenly the waiter arrives, asking for a refill
It was the long forgotten coffee to which he was referring
"Do you both need a refill? "
Bewildered my blind eyes turned to right
On their own will
"Yes." He answers with a conviction
Required to take an oath
As he answers for us both.
I start to say something but he beats me to it
Scoots his chair a little closer, his scent hitting my nose
"I read a bunch of your poems and I must say
Paris, there's something in its air"
