    Clemency

Put no stock in diplomatic compassion. Well mannered tenderness disguising malicious, old fashion, factions, politely performing infractions on our civil liberties.

They wear their propaganda like a Coronet, and their 16 millimeter short films echo still to this day. Their words, it turns out, speak louder than their actions.

So be honest with the dying, lest the kakistocracy fill their heads with thoughts of immortality. Because here at the end of days they grasp for the delusions of a mythic past, desperate to blind themselves to the suffering they’ve caused us.

One myth sits atop the other, however, and the blind can be made to see. What is more, they must. For what can forgiveness mean to one who refuses to accept it’s necessity? And aught we let them rob us even of the ability to forgive?

    Ha.

And they call our pride a sin.

every poem demands to be analysed :)
even tho it's not about romance.

    Judgement
    Justice is not easily served
    Unity is not effortlessly achieved
Demons are also equipped with mask
God is really giving us the hardest task
Even in this angry storm, which can't be tamed
Many are still pointing who should be blamed
    Even though everyone has liabilities
    Nobody wants to claim
To them, to us, and to me, it is a shame.

Yes, look at the first letter of each line

    Pseudo Democracy

Something sweeping, this wave is bright
All that was wrong is now alright
Extinguishing the flames of the future
Dragging us back into the sea of the past
Deceptions and divisions so painfully clear
Twisting technology, cashing in on caste
Superior races has such a familiar ring
Like killing in the guise of protecting
Mesmerized by power, after so much inept
Welcoming the wave, in drowning debt
Adrift in the tide of unwanted change
Lashing out in ways so strange
Paving the way for pseudo democracy
It looks the same but lacks all diplomacy
    Freedom replaced with limitless power
Granted by the laws, the need of the hour
A friendly police state for you and me
Welcome to the age of pseudo democracy!

    Robotic

    Algorithm
    Steady rhythm to your heart
    Pulsating lights in my vision
    I see the night
Could it be that I've risen
The moon twinkles with a light that glows and glistens
    Composed of different parts
At the start with a scarlet red ribbon
    To break apart
    To new beginnings
Into nothing just to set myself apart
    Is pure art
    In it's very essence
    Like an exorcism
    Control of my emotions
    Wax and wane
    On the crescent
    Eruption of the wrath
Stoicism propelled me past the present
I will not be their silent sympathiser
    Corpses on the cement
    Their plastic world they torment
    Where does it exist
    Where's the consent?
    Frequent violations
    Take into the equation
    A percent
    Like we're going to prevent
The natural course of these events
    My God
    I command you to repent
I owe you not a cent
    Crib guardrails bent
Time I haven't been able to collect
A debt for the dime I did not spend
An end to where these words will ferment
    Like the night I'm senescenct
    These events don't make sense
I'm left to dreamt in a world
    Where with murder
    They lay content
As my words will become air as they do not represent
    Specific agendas
Since when did we intent to sustain in a world where the truth is wrongfully exempt
    I hold them in contempt
But it's very hard to feel my voice is heard
    I'm one of three
    The first of the third
    A caged in bird
    Left only to sing
    Sonorous symphonies of epiphanies
    A fizzling soliloquy
On deaf ears so that my eyes are in compliance but I'm trapped in my defiance
To be held in a light that is not vibrant
    Multicolored ultraviolet
Confused and so much to be done about the silence
    I will start
    But won't succumb to violence
    Or to murder
Life is like a dream so I push further
    I persist
    Like a handcuff tightly gripped
    Around a wrist
    A wrist contracts with fury
    They won't retract the jury
Do not reject the sin that made you
Don't forget don't let them think for you
    You make your own choices
Increase the volume of the voices
    United we need each other
But we can't shield the truth
    Dilute it
    Or just cover
    Can't be confused with it
    Casting doubt to one another
Deadly state of mind birthed from tattered loins
    An angel with no mother

Ramblings about the Soul of America

Anxiety so high people being banished for a simple head cold. Breathing a pro-longed breath with only a screen to have and hold.
One doesn't really care, the other care's for America's "soul".
But without secured Liberty and Justice for ALL, America will never be whole.

    Tongue

He was a toad catching flies
Except that with each lashing of his tongue
    He pulled down aircraft
And long could be heard their cries:
    Blessed be, Amphibian Creator!
    Death to America!
    Frog is greater!

    Mister Maxwell

    Mister Maxwell reads the paper
Of the party that he pays for
    And with subtle nods agrees
With each printed word he reads
He knows all the phrases to say
About the topics of the day
    And he's politically engaged
    (Marching in manifestations)
    And appropriately enraged
    (By violence and discrimination)
To be a hero of society:
    A once-born self that's ceased to be,
    A real symptom of democracy!
    A truly enlightened zombie!

    Water Is Taught By Thirst

    Water is taught by thirst,
Land by the oceans passes with a curse,
    Water is taught by thirst,
    It transports by the throes,
It brings peace by it's battles told,
    water is taught by thirst,
It ease while you at work,
Settling itself in the fresh hold,
    Love, by our memorial road.

You can't use the judgement of others
As a basis for the corrosion of civil liberties
Good or bad can't be defined by skin colors
Society will be marred by racial inequities

Protesters are met with the force they protest
They're beat down by thier use of brutality
Done for our safety and in public interest
Hold the system liable for all it's casualties

The people start to loot and riot in the streets
Demanding the government for racial equality
The white house white washes the deceit
Of the involvement of ire white supremacy

White privilege is their key to entitlement
A creed that's enforced by the history
Supported by the laws of the government
Stunting the growth of morel mentality

If you see me walking down the street
An' you find yourself starting to feel guilty
Cause it more then another man you beat
    Your stripping away thier humanity

    My take on "Paatal Lok"

It's "strictly on need to know basis" that Amazon Prime has once again left the mark with it's newly floated series "Paatal Lok" and has further cemented it's position as prime online streaming platform particularly in terms of Indian content.

Well, basically Pataal Lok is a gripping crime thriller with exceptionally strong language and occasional gory scenes in the greater schemes of human follies and concomitant polysemy of living and existence itself.

Prima facie what begins as a foiled encounter attempt on the Yamuna Bridge with in station limits of the Outer Jamuna Paar Police Station turns out to be just the tip of iceberg and in turn leads the unsuspecting simpleton Inspector Hathi Ram Chaudhary right up to the doorstep of inferno beneath surface of the earth and further leading to the darker and murkier truths of the system itself.

The protagonist of the series Inspector Hathi Ram Chaudhary is believed to be a nincompoop cop who had never been close to the real investigation and is out of nowhere entrusted or rather framed into investigating the grandest and the most high profile case of his life which is apparently made to appear like an open and shut case but actually it isn't and determined Inspector Hathi Ram Chaudhary who now has once a life time opportunity to take a break from his humdrum existence, decides to take the plunge to attempt his best shot and embarks upon a thrilling bone breaking rigmarole to the badlands of Uttar Pradesh in the temple town of Chitrakoot to unravel the unsaid and unknown flagitious past of the prime accused Hathoda Tyagi and in his bid to pursue the hidden truth of case, Inspector Hathi Ram Chaudhary is finally able to stumble upon the uneasy truth and is able to manage and arrange a high profile truce between the warring sides. He forays deep into the case of his life by challenging the preconceived prognosis of events and emerge alive out of this mess contrary to the expectations of everyone barring his confidante and colleague Ansari who himself is struggling hard to keep the minority stereotypes at bay and make it large in his life.

This series has got an eclectic outlook and an almost perfect ensemble cast and characters which represents a wide array of people coming from totally different backgrounds and with incomparable aspirations like someone wants to have absolute creative hold over his channel, someone likes to be loved and raise children, someone holds the canines dear, someone wants medals and promotions, someone wants a sex change operation to marry the love of her life, someone who is love lorn wants his love to be reciprocated, someone wants to keep his unwavering loyalty intact, someone wants to overcome anxiety, someone wants to rise above and touch the sky, someone wants to be still human and be righteously humane, someone wants to blend in as he is tired being a misfit, someone wants to be a social climber, someone wants to remain at the helm of power and then there is this one named Inspector Hathi Ram Chaudhary who is like a tired and an exhausted pigeon with ever haunting gloom and despondency written large all over his face and yet a family man and thus susceptible to errors and wishes like he wants to see respect in eyes of his son who is visibly embarassed of his jumbo name and his profession as a cop, above all he has to battle interdepartmental rivalry and fear of being left out and trampled by his subordinates.

Indeed Paatal Lok narrates an immersive and powerfully riveting tale enacted by it's richly layered characters who represents a wide social and geo political spectrum ranging from Dalit social mobility and skewed up binary gender notions, from caste based atrocities to the women being mercilessly raped in the patriarchal set up of society, from dreaded dacoity to political bonhomie leading to the alleys of power, from new wave nationalism to ages old rigid social subjugation and domination, from rural ruckus to ugly urban myths, from idea of peace to the ideologies of terrorism, from Delhi Belly of Hazrat Nizamuddin to the dubious Delhi of Patiala House Court, from parched Bundelkhand to prosperous Punjab and prevalent notions of pride and prestige therein.

Most importantly and fundamentally Paatal Lok attempts an explanation to the very conjecture of the three different realms and the thin line between Swarg Lok, Bhoo Lok and the infamous Paatal Lok.

    feign gratefulness

    Do these kids
    even know rugged English,
    or do they just sit
and practice a feign sort of gratefulness
    for their wealthy oppressors?
    The Gods didn't die, no,
they just went hiding -- on the lam --
    into our heads.
    The torture of sovereign criminals
    didn't vanish with the abolition
of Capital Punishment. Hm, and, perhaps,
I'm too 'fake deep' for making the mention,
but... that, too, hid within the confines
    of discipline.
Morality is, currently, not your friend.
    So, again, I ask-
    Do these kids
practice anything else -- God forbid --
than a feign sort of gratefulness?

    Blah, Blah, Blase

    There is no better way
    to keep the rats racing,
    and the cats chasing,
    than to say,
    "Well, I'm a hardworker,
and they're all just lazy", yes,
    this is the mantra
    that the wage-slaves
    spoon-feed themselves every day
    in this labor-coercive MLM-scheme
    that we call 'capitalist society'.
    Blah, blah, blase-
    Maybe... some day,
when we eat the right kinds of foods,
    or dissect
    a little deeper, yes,
    into some biblical fruits, or
    trace our roots
    just a little... bit... more...
    we may
    find an escape
    from corporate-greed and CEOs
who don't care that the masses
    of humanity
    need to feed-
Are cold, dying, homeless, and fearing.
In the meantime, we'll give it one more shot,
    I guess, and find...
    a new motivational-speaker
to, hopefully, get it right this time,
in calling all of those who don't succeed
    in our rigged, violent ponzee-scheme
    'lazy'.
