I'm generally a bright light
Strength guns always up
Smile always on
Every now and then the low pulls
They say strongest need more care/love
They aren't wrong, when I hit low
The weakness over powers
My smile shatters
I doubt everything about myself
My faith is the only string left
Sometimes I'm not okay
And it's okay not to be strong always
I know it wont last but.....
Today it feels like it could
So I sit and cry it out

Growing and change can be hard
But noticing the little cages you are in⛓
I can tell I've been asking the wrong ones
Wrong ones to my heart, friendship& dignity ♀️
I built a cage around them all
Breaking free has been so testing
But breaking piece by peace ♀️
Dropping chains each day can be tiring
Realizing the power I've given away
I want it back all of it
When you are comfortable with ways
Ways that are toxic and needy
That wont lead me to God or be sacred to my husband
That I'd tell my daughter not do & have made me shameful to myself
As I grow and start to reflect
I have wavered off my path of dreams
I have no regrets they have taught me
To look in the mirror and accept the ugly and beautiful things

Fighting a battle of who is right or wrong
We are so messed up, have so much hate
Want love but fear giving it
Want to give at a price
Is there a dollar value to your heart
We tear each other up and forget to build
We break trust but want it given

Can you admit you failed, your faults without shy
In the dark how many demons you got?

If not change it now

Am I right?
But what happens when your pain stops but you don’t stop taking the drug as if you were in need of it?
Just think about that
If considering a drug is a pain reliever or a cure for curtain conditions and which ever one you are dealing with is cured, making a conscious decision to carry on with taking the drugs is drug abuse and cans lead to an addiction
Drugs have a psychological effect when ingested or introduced to the body so when you take a drug and it does what your mind thought it would do, you begin to think you need this.
In actuality you don’t need a drug if you change your mind
