    Protest.

If you choose to ignore crime and do not protest against it that's completely your choice. You have every right to not fight & sit back at home comfortably after a hard day's work.

But when that same thing would happen to me & I decide to fight back because that's completely my choice I would face immense obstacle because people like you have chosen to ignore earlier.

Now you are getting the difference?
I'm still not saying you should protest.

Protest is a very personal choice but also inversely proportionate to our privilege and education. But if you ignore ans think you haven't done any harm to anyone by being numb to crimes then that's a lie you are living under.

~~ Bound by the rhymes ~~

    It felt the same.
    It was to blame.

Beleaguered by rhymes in all frames and directions. What else can I do, other than synchronize among the millions doing so? Set agaze by the artificial views, synthetic and dim; aphotic and asphyxiating.

If freedom was a responsibility, then long ago I was iconoclastic enough to fight for it. Long ago, I have already set past the finish line if it were a responsibility-

Sadly, some gullible lives would like or are forced to be subservient, appealing to the minute blood drops of the golden heritage; corrupt and fallacious enough to stuff their evils inside.

"I wish you can hear our voices."

I wished, as I spoke, and I spoke; the words go down their drains.

Feeding off mud.. Oh.. the smell of dead flowers down the stairway of life. Up there is the mighty throne lurking in darkness and showing off aureoles. How dear, oh dear!

Seemed pleasant enough to be attracted like metallic objects to the corrupt magnets, and nowhere to go, other than be bound to the rhymes of them. Their rhymes, stringent and strict to the utter disgrace; wilting off tears and leaves.

"We can only feel freedom, if those demons go behind bars."
    .
    .
    .
    .
    -- SUMMARY --

This expresses about a very corrupt government and carelessness to their citizens, who yearns for a revolution. An example are the slogans on the background image.

"Bound by the rhymes" is a metaphorical phrase for mandating people as unworthy or "worthy" in an inferior capacity.

    -- VOCABULARY --

1 | beleaguer - to surround with armed forces
    2 | aphotic - very dark
3 | asphyxiate - to deprive of oxygen
4 | iconoclastic - not conforming to generally accepted beliefs or practices
    5 | gullible - easily fooled
    6 | subservient - useful inferiorly
    7 | fallacious - marked by fallacy
    8 | aureole - halo; a radiant light around
9 | stringent - marked by rigor and strictness

Please donate to the Minnesota Freedom Fund. These protesters are out there trying to peacefully make a difference and those jailed need your help: https://minnesotafreedomfund.org/

This is just a poem to those that wish to speak up against the wrongs in today's world, yet feel like they cannot without oppressing the voices that do matter. All voices matter, but be aware to try and use your privileges to point the spot light to those that need it.

    Fight

I will say nothing yet everything as I stand beside you.
    Hand in hand
    Arm crossed with arm
Heart against heart as I hold you
    Going cold
    They did not understand you
A daffodil is not a weed
But they mowed you down anyway
    Yet you come back
Again and again you come back living up to their labels
For you will sing your peace against the violence
You will raise bouquets against bayonets
    You
    You will speak
    And I will stay voiceless
I will stay voiceless yet I will stand beside you to scream out your cries for revolution
They need not another to speak for them
    For you
    For them or you
You're the welcome home they need
    To fight
    To live
    To love
    To die
    To be remembered
    To be forgotten?
    Never

    Pandemic Riot

I just want to say to addition to my poem I wrote the other day called "Foodless Pandemic." I have more words to say about what is going on in the world today, and what God has blessed me with again. I still feel bad about the Murder of George Floyd and it is good that people are taking a stand against police brutality, and inequality of injustice against our black communities.
On Wednesday morning my family and I had gotten blessed again. My mother had received a text message from a clinic located on 115th n Halsted. She informed me that the clinic was giving food away. Four hours later I was expecting to see one box of food in her car. Instead, we got three huge boxes of food. It was so much food in those boxes that I did not know what to do. I told my mother that we are not going to eat all of that food. Our refrigerator is getting loaded with food now and I told her that we are giving a lot of it away. We gave a lot of it away to my boyfriend's family, my aunts, and one of my neighbors. God will always make a way for us. God will always do the impossible, believe that.

"Some of them wandered in deserts that were dry and empty. They couldn’t find a city where they could make their homes. They were hungry and thirsty. Their lives were slipping away. Then they cried out to the Lord because of their problems. And he saved them from their troubles. " Psalm 107:4‭-‬6 NIRV

I have a prayer that I feel needs to be prayed about at this time that applies to our present state. My prayer is,
"Lord, please save us, please save the land O God, it seems like this pandemic is not getting any better, and it seems like it will never end, but with you O Lord, you will do the impossible, I know you will cast out all the evil spirits of the land that is not following the laws, and heal all the sicknesses that still have the virus. Lord, please make a way for those that do not have anything to eat because of the riots O God, be with them and bless them, bless the land O God, you have the Almighty power to save us from this troubled world, and Lord, I pray for George Floyd's family, be with them, touch their hearts, strengthen them, and bless them, give them justice for their love one O God, we all will get through this pandemic together, in the name of Jesus, I pray, Amen."

    Foodless Pandemic

I feel bad about the Murder of George Floyd's death and it is good that people are taking a stand against police brutality, and inequality of injustice against our black communities. What I had seen on the news of a number of people protesting against police brutality. While watching that made me think that if hundreds of people are out there around each other knowing that a virus is still spreading. Why am I still in the house? The enemy was tempting me to go back outside and do the things that I always did every summer before this pandemic. I felt like taking long walks again because I really enjoy walking and I also felt like hanging out with my boyfriend again once week going places. I had gone to the lord with that problem because that was bothering me. God gave me the wisdom that I still need to be still.  Joining my church's conference prayer line weekly is being an encouragement to me to stay put, and to not engage in what other people are doing in the world because that is ungodly. Stay at home.
How I feel about the looting, rioting, and how people are going against the laws of the land? I feel that the looting rioting is not justified. It is ungodly of those who are destroying properties like restaurants, grocery stores, and banks.
On the 1st of Monday was when I got my monthly check to pay me and my mother's rent. I had gone to Chase Bank on 95th n Stony Island. There were glass windows and ATMs that had been demolished. It was only two ATMs that were working at the time. I had to wait in a long line and made sure I was not close to anyone. I thank God at least one bank was open because paying the bills is important.
I was hoping that a grocery store was opened as well because my mother had kept badgering me that all the stores were probably going to be closed. We had driven around all the grocery stores in town. Jewels Osco, Save A lot, Dollar Tree, Ultra Foods, Pete's, Family Dollar, Aldi's, and Walgreens were all closed. Some stores that we passed by were set on fire. God help me because this pandemic seems like it is getting worse. I kept praying and hoping that it would be one store opened and it was. It was a mini-market that was opened on 75th n Jeffrey, which I do not like going to because it has a lot of gang activity going on in that environment. I did not have any choice to go there since all the other grocery stores were destroyed. Thank God that I did find a store that was opened because I really needed food for me and my child. God will always make a way for us. God will always do the impossible, believe that.

    Late Night Panic and Denial

    Swept inside the laboring machine
    Sliced open by its gears
    Wishing silence would sprawl
Wish I’d fall back to sleep

    Smoke coddles the tyrants
    Shorting out the controls
    Full lives feed the furnace
    Wish I’d just fall asleep

    Though I’ve been far away
Safe and sound on higher ground
    Unscathed, still I pray
    “It’s all a dream”
    “I’ve been asleep”

    2020

Be on the right side of history .History always repeats itself. Educate yourself and wake up. Don't stay blinded and fight discriminatation ,injustice, racism and abuse of power.
Speak up for the silenced if they do not.
And don't silence the voices of the oppressed when speaking up.
How many more years does society have to endure this madness?
How many more tears have to fall and be forgotten ? How much red blood has to be spilled.. and how many more lives have to be sacrificed for us to unite ? We are too comfortable accepting a reality that has been chosen for us. Why be complacent. Rise above your ego and be careful of what you say ..what you are going to represent? What are you going to throw out into the world? Keep your toxicity and keep your mouth shut.
Because when the time comes we all are going to have to face the consequences of our actions and and to swallow those words we said so selfishly. The world will heal until we all are treated with the same dignity ,respect and humanity. I'm disappointed that once more all we do is judge and criticize instead of choosing to have empathy for the people in pain. Let cowards stay scared ,let egos feel above it to validate themselves. It is not just violence when they make it a war.
Show your true colors in these moments of despair.
I see you and validate your pain.
To the people protesting my respect
To the people trying to stain the black lives matter movement in whatever way ,
One day you are going to pay
    For looking the other way
Check your privilege , look into yourselves and work on your conscience if you have one. Your ego is the only thing showing.
Are you blind , brainless or heartless.
For you to understand other people's suffering
The criminal justice system is not the only thing broken.
    Society is too .
Let the world burn to ashes if that's what it takes
For humanity ..to be human again.
    I said what I said..
    And don't care anymore..

    The Color Blue

Nobody should look at their skin and feel nervous
Just because you neglect to properly carry out your service
    Reeking of mental incompetence
    Your hatred lacks common sense
You are the embodiment of their resent
A pity and disgrace that this has draged into the present
Look into their eyes and see their cries
    Slam the door
    But this time
It'll be you on the floor
Because this is what YOU deserve
    You, the color blue.

    2020 American game of chess

A pawn is defined as a person or thing manipulated and used by others. A person unwittingly used in a scheme and taken advantage of by others is an example of a pawn.

You protesters are the pawns, and your worse mistake is thinking you are in control. You are all playing into the game created by those you hate. Sooner than later you will face a force much greater than you could ever imagine.

A force that is yet to come, yet to be known. However, no wandering eye can deny the events to be somewhat of a checklist to a much bigger picture and all of the pieces are falling into place.

Brothers and sisters we are all humans on one planet here to live the best life on this beautiful rock not to destroy our home and eachother. Do not be sheep, do not feed into the media, protect yourself, protect your family, and stay woke. I promise the worst is yet to come.

    It seeks an identity,
    or a full turn spin.

    The chaos hovers
