"Draw it for me?"
Would you draw it for me?
Recently I've been facing a of screes.
Tried drawing a happy place,
Tried walking on the pathway it did trace.
A lot of lines over that beauty,
My heart said this wasn't it and brain responded, absolutely.
Well I obviously don't know those lines good enough,
And shooting in the dark will just murder that stuff.
I don't know how to sketch,
Couldn't usually cover that sheet's entire stretch.
A few bruised lines around the corner,
While my hand rest gets warmer.
Tell me if you could see it,
Those mountains covered in white enhanced by the moonlight.
That little station,
A steam train which would take us to that nation.
A bench on one side of the tracks,
On other side, a spherical information board which shows parallax.
A heap of hay on near the bench,
No sunshine comes down that trench.
No sun bothers the nights out there,
Its just those beautiful stars moving in spheres.
Three mountains covered in snow,
A shack nearby, for us, you know.
That's quite a picture I've painted here,
So tell me, did it turn you into a seer?
Would you like to share my happy place?
Construct a world in empty space?
Are you able to experience that glee?
So tell me, would you draw it for me?
