Mom
She started crying when I was born,
When I grew up she said I had a horn.
She loved me more than her life,
She performed all her duties as a mother and wife.
She trusted me at any cost,
She couldn’t stand when I was lost.
How could anyone love me so much?
No one except her could give the motherly touch,
When I was ill you let me curl in your lap. When I did something wrong you replied with a slap.
You taught me how to ride,
You consoled me when I cried.
For my success and prosperity you always wish,
Even a simple thing was made into a classic dish.
When I was away, you I tremendously missed, How can I forget the goodnight’s kiss!
My dreams were filled with the walking dead, You always saved me from this frightening dread.
When I am low, my spirits you lift.

and nobody stood by her fall.
She was a charming flower,
and no one sniffed her wail.
She was a gleaming star
and nobody saw her embers.
She was a unflinching rock
and nobody counted her cracks.
She was draped in robes of expectations
and her aspirations were gradually raped.
She was drowned in waters of stillness
and her identity unwillingly faded.
Belittled as a powerhouse of commotion,
no one took stock of her devotion.
Dismissed as bunch of soggy visions,
no one nursed her mental incisions.
The world poured over sympathy,
and she had to scout for pearl of empathy.
Her silence was at war
and love riddled with tainted bonds.
She was planted in poetic trance
and revered in eloquent stance,
But, entangled in temporal dance,
all she needed was a momentary chance,
when someone will hold her close
and listen to the music of her soul....

A good woman is faithful, ambitious, educated, honest and loyal. She supports you at your worst and is there to celebrate with you at your best. She puts you before her friends and family (when necessary).
A woman who can do more for you then satisfy your sexual needs is hard to come by nowadays so when you have one make sure you appreciate and cherish her, cause the clubs, bars etc are full of dudes wishing they had the lady you left at home.
