The word congratulations means nothing. What can we possibly say when someone has done "well" and who can define what "well" is? Nothing we say can encourage that to happen again. Because a certificate is a piece of paper with absolutely no value. Why are we teaching children to make perfect grades and to win lots of awards? Not everyone is the same. Some people like books, some people like movies, some people like both, some people like to tell stories while others like to hear them. Some people sing, act and even dance. Some people work hard at solving the words hardest math problems or writing essays all day. How do we determine success? That's not up to anyone but the person who is having the successfulness. Some people say that they are successful, and others say they aren't. We are all successful in our own ways. We have to recognize that. Achievement will only be in a person's own interests. It's subjective and everyone has an idea for it. So stop looking for other people's approval and do what you want. And stop judging people because they aren't like you, because you aren't like them either. We are all different.
