Colours of God
Each day God sets off to paint,
A beautiful day, filled with wonders.
At the break of dawn,
He tickles the birds with the end of his brush
To wake them up for assisting him.
He starts to paint the sky, a vibrant blue,
The birds rush and bring it from the
Innocent faces of young children.
With a swish he paints the sky
All blue and gay.
Then he asks for green, for all the lushes.
The birds find it too,
From the hearts of those soldiers guarding their mother.
And lo! What a beautiful sight
All the fields sway in contentment.
Next he thinks Rainy or Sunny?
The birds wait and he exclaims: Sunny!
And the birds are already off
In search of the happiest person of all,
He who has sunny thoughts,
A glow in his heart
And a smile on his face
Maybe they'll come to you today,
Be the sunshine of the day !
