They say success can't be given to you, you need to earn it. But what about those people who are so talented and thus will easily achieve success through it. Isn't it a little unfair to others? Doesn't it mean that success has already been guaranteed to them and they didn't have to do anything for it?
I don't believe in talent because if something like this existed then it would have been unfair for everyone else. We all know god would never favour a particular person over another, still we keep thinking and fretting about who all are talented and who's not. It's not like that, someone might have some amazing abilities from childhood but these are then converted into skills only through hard work. We all have such skills, it's just a matter of finding them within ourselves.
Nowadays i hear many people telling me that i am talented but it's not my talent, it's that skill which took a considerable amount of time to develop and to be seen by others. The people who once told me that i wasn't talented at all and wouldn't succeed in anything are now unable to say such things about me. It's just a matter of time and there's no such thing as talent, it's only practice and hard work. Do you agree ?

However, I do believe in talents and gifts. These "talents" are a matter of the Father's design and purpose and will go hand-in-hand with His plan for our lives. Anybody can learn how to draw, do math, write, use reason and logic, research, and do these things well, but, depending on how we are hardwired, some things will come more naturally to us than others. If we did not have people who had a talent for teaching, how would we learn to read and write? If we did not have those who were naturally great at math and handiwork, how would we have roads and buildings? I believe in Ephesians, Paul states that's there are some called to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, some to be preachers and some to be teachers. Some have the gifts of encouragement, healing, prophesying, we have prayer warriors, fishermen, hunters, architects, philosophers and theologians. Many of these things, yes, people can learn, but it cannot be denied that the special, natural bend towards certain skillsets are necessary for the furthering of Christ's kingdom. Just focus, listen, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the gifts he has given you and how you can grow them and use them for His glory :)
