Cricket And Exam
Think you have a huge target on scoreboard,
Like the full marks on the question paper.
Be the opening batsman,
Who sees the big target on the board,
Frees his hands and plays absolutely carefree,
Without thinking much about the target.
Likewise write whatever you feel,
Without worrying about marks,
As batsman leaves some balls to get set,
Take additional sheets as much as you can,
To get set with the question paper.
Be the middle order pinch hitter,
Who is always prepared,
For any last moment requirements.
Likewise even if,
You have studied a day before the exam,
Then also not an issue,
Just go and pour out whatever you know,
Because the preparation,
One day before exam is much more valuable,
Than one year before exam.
Be the last tail ender batsman,
Who knows he can't bat like a batsman,
But despite that,
He holds a bat of a top brand,
And plays the way he can,
Because the game is not over,
Until the last ball is bowled,
Until any of the batsman surrenders their wicket.
Likewise if you aren't prepared for exam,
Just go and sit in exam,
Because a battle left without a fight,
Is a battle given up without any struggle.
