Snakes and Heroes
A snake in the grass, deadly as an asp, waiting for his chance to strike.
A vile creature with the darkest features, hiding from the light.
What he wants is easy to see, Bring the world to its knees.
There's poison in his words and venom in his veins, awaiting the day he may reign.
Tempting fools with money and power, eating their souls with each passing hour.
Greed and lust, envy and mistrust, empower evil and trample the just.
Where is a hero in our darkest hours? Who can stand fast against such power?
The search begins inside, my friend. You have the power to bring their end.
For inside of us, heroes beckon to rise, to bring justice and evils demise.
And one by one, our fear set aside, humanities soldiers begin to rise.
Coming together for a greater goal, side by side around the world, as a whole.
The snake knows his days are numbered, the good in man has arisen from its slumber.
And those corrupt in power, begin to fear.
They know what's coming.
