The Golden Wall
There was a time she hurriedly let down the wall between them.
Each brick collapsed with an intense story.
The eagerness to destroy the wall ended up
making their views more transparent.
The earlier days of reciprocity was indeed
beautiful without any impediment.
Nothing lasted for long.
Time flied in a blink,
Days barreled along.
The weeds started growing all over the place
Where the wall used to be,
Creating a hinderence at a slow pace.
Nobody knew what was happening
Untill they found each other judging and quibbling.
Often disgusting than the thin wall they had in between.
One day she realised that was a golden wall
Which divided them yet hold them close.
Yesterday when she was reminiscing over the past,
The broken bricks were smirking at her,
Reminding how blockhead she was lately.
