100,000 years from now,
a poet will write about us as an eulogy.
As the scientists lay down evidences
And the lawyers drag our remains to court
Pointing to our ashes that this was the
generation that was
too selfish & too stubborn
to care about it's children
depriving life of green, blue, pink, red, yellow
& a lot so many hues
leaving behind just poisonous spew.
And as the judge finally pronounces us guilty
of caring too much about nothing,
And nothing at all about everything.
They'll put all our memories & sins & every
single remain of our civilization
In an urn and toss it far far away
from their beloved Earth
Tagging us as nothing, but fit for Oblivion -
too unworthy of any kind of remembrance.
And that my friend,
Will be our only redemption.
