Ke aaj mujhe sirf behena hai.
Kisi Manzil ki parwaah nahi
Ke mjhe bs safar me rehna hai.
Kisi Panaah ki taalash nahi
Ke ab mujhe azaad hona hai.
Kisi khuda ki mohtaaj nahi
Ke ab khanabadoshi hi ibadat hai
Kisi kinaare ki firaaq me nahi
Ke ab lehro me Meri duniya hai
Kisi mausam ka intezaar nahi
Ke ab har rut me bas jeena hai
Kisi manzoori ki zarurat nahi
Ke ab meri chahat hi Meri izazat hai
Kisi bandish ki chinta hai
Ke ab khul ke bas udte rehna hai.

Marshalling through the fractured fragments
Craving to find something pristine
Undeterred by the searing pain
Foolish heart insolently looked astern
Bewitched by her hypnotic trance
Delusion of a second chance
Anamnesis was my constrain
When life was demanding to advance
Sabotaged by those cruel words
They sting you like some poison dart
Gaining sight of all that's left of me
Are fragments of my broken heart.

I struggle to make
sense of the things
that happen from day
to day
I wonder if there's ever
going to be a point when
these things fall into place
when these things start
to fall into some sort of
pretty picture
or will my ignorance
or will my pettiness
eventually get the best
of me?
because that's what seems
to be

हम किसी से खुशियाँ मांगे
यह हमें मंज़ूर नही
मांगी हुई खुशियों से किसका भला होत है
जो किस्मत में है वो ज़रूर अदा होता है। -
मैं कौन हूं
मैं कौन हूं
एक हार हूं
हादसे से जूझ रहा एक किरदार हूं
मुकम्मल न हो सका वो अधुरा प्यार हूं
जिस बसेरे को छोड़ गई मेरी बतख,
उसकी दीवार की दरार हूं
एक हार हूं, बीमार हूं
वो रेतीला नदी किनार हूं,
जहां मेरे पदचिन्हो की छाप है,
वहा आगे एक प्रपात है
मैं रेत हूं, पर अटल भी हूं
हर पल अलग आयाम हूं
मैं ही वो जलहोम हूं
फिर सवाल उठा मैं कौन हूं
एक किरदार हूं
मेरी मां के सपनों का आकार हूं
चुनौतियों में पिता का आधार हूं
अभिमान हूं
कलाकार हूं
मेरी ख्वाहिशें औरों से अलग हैं
जहां पंछी उड़ान भरे वो फलक हैं
उस फलक को छुने की मेरी सनक हैं
एक चिकित्सक, एक चित्रकार हूं
चिकित्सा मैरी रोटी, कला मेरी चमक है
मैं वसुधा का प्रेमी हूं
छायाचित्रो से भरा मेरा गुल्लक है
मैं कलम की बेचैनी हूं
एक मुखबरी कारीगरी हूं
एक शायर की उदास शायरी हूं
एक हास्य लेखक का लेख हूं
मैं कौन हूं

I know I will never be able to find the exact words or phrases
To define and describe the ocean of feelings
I carry inside, not just my heart, but my entire self for you.
And, even when I don't have the most 'appropriate' words to define and describe this turmoil inside me
The irony is...
All I have for you, are these inappropriate words
All I can ever offer you, are these not-so-exact phrases
Though, deep down these fail too
To exactly express what I wish to convey

the only thing in my stomach
is the splash of sunshine
a screwdriver for the soul
for the lackluster in self-

I am a five letter word,
I come after S in the dictionary
I am embellished with multi-synonyms.
People say I am like a glass
They say I can never be back once broken.
I say I am transcendent,
I am a feeling;
Felt only towards chosen ones.
Rarely earned and easily lost.
I should be given a label titled
'Handle with care'.
I am as fragile as a tender child
I am as strong as a graphene.
I define myself as the tenderest of the tender.
