यूं तो कई शायर हैं मगर
हमने भी एक मुकाम पाया है
जज़्बातों को समेट एक कारवां सा बनाया है
अनुभावों के मोती पिरो कर इसे सजाया है
मन की सुन कर लेख लिखाया है
माना बहुत सरलता है बातों में
पर कड़ी कड़वी सच्चाई ही बतलाई है
एक प्रभु! बस तेरी ही आस है
बाकी अब कोई नहीं आसपास है!

जो आता है उसे जाना भी पड़ता है
ज़ख्म पे मरहम लगाना ही पड़ता है
ज़िन्दगी इसी का नाम है
पसंद हो या ना हो
साथ बस निभाना ही पड़ता है,
ता उम्र सपने जो सजाते है
ताश के पत्तों की तरह बिखर भी जाते है
अपने ही दगा दें तो दुनिया ही पराई लगती है
अटखेलियों की फिर कचेहरी लगती है
अंजाने मोड़ पर बदलती है ज़िन्दगी
पल में अपना पराया दिखती है ज़िन्दगी
अच्छे बुरे का फ़र्क एक ही इंसान में करवाती है
ये ज़िन्दगी बड़ी अजीब चीज है जनाब
दिल के करीब बन्दों को पल में अजनबी बनाती है
उम्मीवारों को एक दूसरे का साथ मिल जाता है
आगे बड़े तो रस्ता दिख जाता है
विश्वास करो उस रब पर तो दुनिया आपकी है
किसी से कोई उमीद की गुज़ारिश नहीं करते हैैं
वरना रह बस अकेले ही जाते हैैं
अच्छाई के साथ बुराई भी है
प्रकृति सब हिसाब रखती है
आपका किया आपको ही लौटाती है
बदलाव जीवन का सत्य है
हर किसी को हर किसी की ज़रूरत है
आज के कर्म कल जरूर पायोगे
कुछ नहीं साथ ले जाओगे।।

Wo roye to chup karana use
Kisi aur ko na chup karane dena
Ab main chalti hun, alvida
Aur uska khayal rakhna
Keh dena jald bhula de
Kah dena bhula dena bhula dena
Koi pooche mera pata to has dena
Wo muskuraye mere jane pe to khilkhila dena
