I miss me.
The old one who cried at slightest of misunderstanding & laughed out at meagre jokes told!
What happened?
Something which turned me into stoic being!
Was it growing up? Or the changing tides of people & the odd tides of life?
Maybe it was just all of them,squeezing into a complex whirlpool of rollercoaster ride!
Maybe that's what life is all about.
A journey of turning into a different being with each passing day.
But I miss me, the old one.

A phone call, it makes a difference.
Especially in an age where Facebook & Insta stories are conversation feeds.
It shows there are people who would be ready to take some time off to hear your voice.
It shows there's a world beyond what we put out there for the world.
It shows we love someone & we miss them.

As the year draws down the curtain yet another time,I seem to have grown up older.
Lots of lesson learnt about how life can be both good & heart wrenching.
And the best one being able to let go what is not worth crying over.
Adieu 2019,hope the next year is filled with good health & greater joys!
