I'm just a nobody
Drifting apart in an endless sea
Unsure of what future has for me.
Fighting against the roaring tide
I lost myself, I lost my pride
Long ago my laughter died.
I'm all blood, sweat and tears now
Holding on to a straw somehow
Survival is my only vow.
But sticks and stones;
They break my bones
Nobody hears my moans.
So I wonder, is there a fresh start?
A new sunrise without a broken heart?
