You know what's attractive?
When you make efforts for someone from day-one.
When you consistently validate their feelings to make them feel heard and supported. When they're down and you pick them up to show them the rainbow and how tomorrow is going to be better.
When you truly apologise and genuinely adjust your behavior to grow with them. When you learn their fears and when you protect them from their demons.
When you know that nothing can beat unwrapping birthday surprises and you make sure they don't miss that. When you forgive and let things go because it is in forgiving that we are forgiven.
When you write them letters and sing them songs in the middle of the night to imagine them smiling at the other end. When you bring joy to their heart and when you try eveyday to become the best there is.
And when you believe in them so much, they start to believe in themselves too.
It is indeed very attractive when you make efforts.
But you know what's even more attractive?
When you also get back the efforts you make.

Dear ex dear current dear forever
At one point I thought you were the one, then he came along and so did he. Repeating the same mistakes... I saw you in all of them just a little different. A two percent upgrade, improvement whatever
And yet I kept falling and hoping that they would be different from you. No matter how hard I try you keep coming back, in a different name and different race but it's still you. the same liar and cheat I fell for!Funny enough no matter how much I claim to hate you ,your love has left a keloid scar on my heart and I, I simply can't get it removed.
