Hey people,I am a psychology student and definitely not a feminist, more of an equalist I say.Today I woke to the news concerning another unrecorded rape case in the southern part of Indian and that made my stomach churn. There have been times when I felt so low cus of the abusive circumstances and no one to talk to,times when I wanted to confront things but was frightened by judgemental people and I don't want you to go through this. Its sad to know that many of the minor molestation cases starts with their own family members, friends and neighbors and it doesn't stop with women, men are equally victimised. We live in the society where every individual is emotionally dependant on another and it's important to protect others mental health,so from today, you can text me through my Instagram and talk to me about anything right from your stressful 10-7 job to toxic relationship and I am all ears. Please share this to your friends who's incapacitated and tell them it's okay to talk about it and they don't have to deal with all alone, not anymore. (This is not counseling or something cus I am not licensed yet,its my own initiative to make this lockdown more progressive, stable and to make life a little easier.Sometimes you only need people to listen to your problems and trust me in this, you'd feel a lot better). Not to brag but this is non-judgemental zone and of course anonymity is promised. Let's talk, help eachother and heal together. Love from my screen to yours. -Keerthana jayaprakash.
