বামপাশের জানলা পেরিয়ে দোতলা সিড়ির ওঠানামা। আর একটু এগোলেই বিকেল। দেবযানী বিকেল ছুঁলেই ছাদ জুড়ে শ্রাবণমাস...
অস্থির বৃষ্টিদানা ছুঁয়ে ফেলে ওকে। ভিজে ওঠে ওর নীল চুড়িদার। কাজল ধুইয়ে বুক ভিজে যায় তৎপরে। নিমেষে ফুলের টবগুলো এক একটা প্রেমিকদম্পতি। তারে মেলে দেওয়া শাড়ীরা নানারঙের রবীন্দ্রসঙ্গীত।
আর ছাদটা? উঠোন...সন্ধ্যার শহরের।
গোধূলীর ধারায় চুল চোঁয়ানো জল দাহ করে ফ্যালে কতশত গীটার হুড়মুড়িয়ে। নাম না জানা গলিগুলো নতুন করে প্রেমে পড়ে। ট্র্যাফিকের লাল হাত বাড়িয়ে দেয় অজানা সাথীর জন্য।
কেউ জানে না। জানা হয় না কারও...
রাজপথে ভেসে যাওয়া নৌকায় ঝিলমিল করে শতাব্দীর প্রত্যেকটির হাত ধরে চলাগুলো। সাথে সাথেই!
বিশ্বাস কর, সেই থেকেই বৃষ্টি আমার প্রিয় কবিতা...
ছাদটা প্রিয় সমুদ্র। ভেসে যাওয়ার ফুরসত।
