    Matched Souls

    When we are worlds apart
I hold you in my heart
Until i can hold you in my arms
    Once again

You showed me a safety i knew not before
    Held close to you
Our heartbeats, matched in rythm soar
Our souls dancing with the moon

Beyond life's quarrels, qualms and strifes
    Our minds wander
    To thoughts past mediocrity
To what dwells in dreams undreamt
    Until we dared to dream
    Together

    Dreams for ourselves
    Dreams for each other
And the dreams that we could create
    Together

    The construction of a reality
    In which we could inscribe
The very limits of our imaginations
    Limits,
    That were nonexistent
    Much like the bounds of
    Possibilities of our dreams
    And our capabilities of reaching
    and succeeding them

    Soul

    I looked in your eyes,
    So pure and true
    I came to an epiphany
    Right then and there
    I knew.

Where you come from does not matter
In the way your soul does so
It counts not what makes your features
Like things you believe and know

    We are taught to believe
    To dream and achieve
In this life of but one shot
So take your soul and with it
Give your life everything you've got

    Details

    Appreciate the little things,
    The details that hide
Shying away from the bigger picture
    And refuse to rules abide
    Things like sunsets, picnic dates
    Or nights spent winding down
Are what should be most valued
    In this little town
Let me show you how to wonder
At the marvels you've not seen
Let me show you how to build yourself
To the better version you've not been
Live life for the bigger things
That may yet come your way
But don't forget the smaller details
For they'll brighten up your day

    King

    The Lord of silver fountains,
    The King of carven stone
    The Kind under the mountain
    Shall come unto his own
And the bells shall ring in gladness
    At the mountain king's return
But all will fail in sadness
And the lake will shine and burn

And when I look back upon with fondness
    The pages of my tale
    Hidden between times of test
Is my spirit yours did veil
You never found my heart and soul
Although, you never cared to look
So I wove my spirit into
    The pages of my book

    Wicked Beauty

Her beauty was bettered by the tongue of the cruel
By her wish to inflict pain on one
Of least expectance, of undeniable innocence
To torture her till her end come
'Twas the most subtle of movements, the most quiet of spoke
    That aided her wicked desire
To destroy her companion who in the dark light awoke
Her oldest friend, who'd not suspect her conspires

    Luminescence

    Bathed in luminescence
Of the silver stars we lie
    Beneath the heaven's essence
That with our souls does entertwine

    Future

My mind worries for the future
For what will come and what will be
For the fear that lies within my heart
    And shadows all I see

    My heart greatly troubles me
For the things I hear and the things I see
    May never come to be

    Our souls intertwine
You and yours, me and mine
Forever until the end of time
