I trust Him
When God sends rain,
Is because He wants
To wash away our sins.
When God sends us the sun,
It is because He wants
To dry all our tears.
When God sends us snow,
It is to freeze the souls of those
Who want to hurt us,
And the hands of those
Who want to hit our feelings.
When God takes people out of our lives,
It is to show us that we can live
Better without them inside.
When God sends us people into our lives,
It is because we have enough space
For them in our souls to love,
And we need them also in our growth process.
I trust in every move of the Lord in my life,
Because He best understands
People's intentions.
His choices are made just to protect my soul!

Through my own story
Some choose to be the noise in my life
When I seek peace.
Some choose to be the hope
I no longer need.
Some choose to be a lie
That I can't tolerate.
Some choose to be music
I don't like at all.
Some run me,
Some hurry me.
Some rush to leave,
Some are already gone.
I go at my own pace,
I sing in my dreams.
Only the sun's rays
Can hit my skin.
No need to hurry,
I prefer to go alone.
Don't worry,
I'll be safe in the end.
I need the freedom to write,
I need to feel real life.
I need the caress of the morning,
I need to go through my own story.

Standing in my own shell,
No matter if it's night or day,
Away from people,
I keep writing.
My eyes are a mirror of what I saw,
My heart dictates how I felt at that time,
I have scars over my bones,
I am a survivor who continues this fight.
I drink water,
To cleanse myself
After the heavy words
I swallowed.
My skin touched the hands of dead souls ,
They wanted to poison me.
Standing alone in my own world,
Not letting anyone in,
It doesn't matter if it's good or bad,
I can't let anyone approach.

Sometimes I hear only the rhythm of a song,
And it makes me think of all the losses I had.
Sometimes I only hear the lyrics that I replace
With my own lyrics in my thoughts.
Which I am afraid to sing out loud,
'Cause I don't want to leave my soul to them.
I leave the pain on the piano,
I leave my smile on the acoustic guitar,
I leave the sadness on the saxophone,
I leave the laughter on the violin.
I leave my soul at the window,
I leave my heart under the thunder.
