Another rape took place and there is nothing to do with this case again Government is not concerned about this again; why do we need to think, it's not our chase_ Again a case will take place but there would be no one to stand against.
Again a horrible incident happened. A 20 year girl was mercilessly rapped. We girls are taught to not walk alone in the dark instead of men being taught to not prey on a lone woman . We are taught to pull out skirts down as the skin of our legs simply makes a man too raven ous, he won't be able to resist us . Everything is put on the woman - It's our fault if we get raped. Maybe we simply drank too much or didn't wear enough.
But let me tell you something. My parents never told me the above mentioned things.
They always tell me that
Let yourself be a man's worst nightmare. Unleash your light, unveil your power. You are not a "pretty little thing". You are so much more than that. You are not someone that needs to cover up. You are an exploding light of flames and sparks - Society better cover their damn eyes because you're not playing along anymore.
We are not weak, but this society want us to be. But this is our life
No one should ever overpower us. There should never be a time that you fear about your safety. Now, is the right time. It is the right time to get rid of the ridiculous notation that we are inferior to men. How dare these men put their self on a pedestal the audacity to refer to me as less than them. We are not the damsels in distresses that we're made out to be.
No, I do not need a man to rescue me from the imprisonment of a tower.
No, I do not need a man to kiss me to awaken me from my blindness and give me the ability to see and live.
No, I do not need a seven-man army and a prince to unlock my glass temple.
This isn't a fucking fairy tale and I will never be your princess. This is the time to end the culture that is rape.
Drench it in alcohol and unleash an open flame upon it. Destroy it because rape jokes aren't funny and never will be. End it because it's not about how we dress. End it because we are more likely how we dress. End it because we are more likely to get raped than to get attacked by a shark. End it because a little dress does not represent "yes".
We don't need any one to protect us. We are enough for our selves.
We are beauty and we are the beast.
We are the angels and we are the devil. We are fire , we can burn anything.
Don't mess with us, we can make your life worst then hell.
Never Say Never
Devil: Nirbhaya case take too long; why do we care about the law and norms It will took so many years till that time we can do anything without any fear.
Soul: I really want justice as soon as possible so that these devils atleast have some fear. Why not a girl? People pray for a boy Mot for a girl.
They want a men not a women.
In need of money they go to goddess lakshmi. In need of courage they go to goddess Durga In need of wisdom they go to goddess Saraswati. Then
#50th I love writing on mental health issues to create mental awareness and reach to the souls of all those infected and affected by its consequences. I would also like to share my love with those who have mentored me through for they are at my heart. My favourite bro here at mirakee @kehta_hai_joker, a lovely soul @colourfulgreys and I pray and hope they'll always be here. To those who have always supported my writing @fleeing_fossil , @_gonewild and to the one who introduced me to this platform @rashenree. I wish I could tag you all. Love ❤️ to all my followers. Writing is a gift to poets and writers to share their feelings to the world and speak for the unspoken ____________________________________
The fear of this encroaching dark For my soul filled with empty crack My little pieces from the scorching earth Tormented by the sound of a fading bark I yearn for peace to soothe my aching heart
Alone in a deserted world Yet surrounded by a heavy crowd And they all stand with a boastly proud I'm encaved with comfort of my lonely word I yearn for peace within the encroaching shroud
I feel always on the run Saving my soul from the bang Probably not evenly fond of the pun Or evading a bullet from the triggered gun As I yearn for the peace of my personal fun
The pressure from my peers As I hide away from my little fears And swallowing the drop of my tears I hold up for them to enjoy these cheers While I yearn for freedom from my caged years
A sound from a muted speech From amplified silenced pitch And it's always a slight little itch But it's not part of a system glitch Its just a yearning from a stigmatized stitch
The fears of an encroaching dark The tears of a broken heart Just a sheer of the part In the mere of little fact I yearn for freedom from the scripted act
