Do you ever wonder where the moon goes on nights it doesn't appear?
It has been seduced by the darkness that eclipsed it the night before
It's been mesmerized by the stars that shine so brightly in its absence
By the beauty produced when it's consumed by darkness
Sometimes it seems the moon forgets that darkness is only a visitor and even though it's easier to have its doubts and fears reaffirmed than having to fight to find that tiny speck of light and hope
The moon must remember that sadness is only a visitor
