Deep 'neath my heart
Covered by stones
I know autumn's coming
The sunlight is bright
And the sky is pink
I try and try to cover the place with more stones
I am afraid to return back to dark
By letting this temporary view
Penetrate inside my skin, bones and soul.
But still I know
Somewhere deep 'neath my heart
You brought it
And, I won't be able to keep my door closed
For a long time.
