    Poem Drowning in my captivity

    Drowning in my captivity,
ow da misery is a reality.
    Drowning, sinking,
    sunken ship.

    As the world keeps turning,
    cupid cries for the lost.
Do I hold on or be gone?
    This is plaguing me.

    The battle in my mind,
    the war in my soul.
    But my Spirit speaks life,
    I listen to Christ inside,
    and I arise,
    and shine.
    I don't stay down,
I listen to Jesus the truth, the way, the life, my light.

    Poem Was drowning!

    Drowning in my captivity,
ow da misery is a reality.
    Drowning in my captivity,
    sinking...

    sunken ship.
    What a girl to do?
    options,
    sink or swim.

    Don't stay down they say,
    I decide to live.
    Sinking no more,
    as the world turns.

    I look to the sky,
    I come out the water.
glory be to God, new beginnings,
I have been saved by Jesus.

I was drowning in my captivity,
    till Jesus saved me.
Jesus delivered me from my misery,
    bondage.

    Now am free in him,
    sinking no more.
    Glory be to God,
    Thank God.

We don't stay down, we rise. With Jesus we can rise, and live.
