Earlier in the day, Even before the cracking of dawn, A nightingale sat on my window And began to sing a song- Mellifluous but agonizing; I knew those lyrics very well But my vocals denied to sing. "Don't dare to dare a hurt lover", I exclamed to that nightingale, In an authoritative voice. She smiled and continued... Then at a certain point, She changed the theme And I vociferously sang with her- The song of love, sacrifice and unison! Come my dear come, The time has come come! Let the peaks of Himalayas bow, The waters of Pacific evaporate And let this prodigious sky fall on earth But forsake me not here come! Thy lover in thy love has crossed, The notions and limits of lunacy, come! Suddenly I was sitting by the pillar of Masjid Reciting the Dua-E- Subhu with zeal and zest When I saw my beloved smiling at me, Only a thin layer of air in between the two of us; And I woke up!
