A la maison
j'ai vu une maison
Wrecked ceiling and cracked walls
Like it was ready to fall
Fading paint like it was
A thousand years old.
Dead leaves scattered everywhere
The house was anyone's nightmare
It was never the one I dreamed of
Yet it was mine for a long time.
The house was lifeless
But filled with meaningful memories
The invisible life to the naked eye
The emotion yet seems visible.
It maybe wrecked and crumbled inside
But it appreciates my presence
And I appreciate it's latitude
And welcoming atmosphere.
