    All I Know

    All I know is,
    I wouldn't wish it so,
    Forever always leaving,
    With somewhere else to go,
    I wouldn't ever ask,
    But lately I just might,
    How we arrive, trumpeted,
But leave like ghosts at night.
    All I know is,
    It shouldn't be this way,
    To live such repetition,
    Each and every day.
    I wouldn't ever question,
But it's getting out of hand,
    How we claim our stake,
    In so many distant lands.
