    This little girl

    This little girl stands silent in a field,
    Staring up at the sky.

    This little girl stands broken,
    Waiting for the light to find her.

    This little girl puts hope in the moon,
    Knowing it shines over the shadows.

    This little girl stands with nature,
    Taking in the simplicity of the night.

    This little girl talks to the stars,
    Hoping that one day they will reply.
