The walls stand so high that I myself cannot climb out. As I look above, I see nothing but a dreadful midnight with no stars in the night sky. Each passing moment feels like an eternity, as the void only widens. I wanted to go where there was sunshine, but they told me there was nothing there for me. I linger listlessly, waiting for dawn with baited breath.
