    Sacred Ash

Far off in the land of pale mist
Shines no moon, no stars silvery
Only admiral waves bicker in dread
    Dancing under dark, grim sorcery

The bleak winds cast forth their charm
    As glimmering golden water cascades
Crested ripples make the ocean shiver
As the gilded cattails look for shade

A glum laden boat is roving ahead
Breaking the silence of the sullen sea
Rosy red eyes are turning cinder red
For no mere traces of life they see

Majestic mist fades to pave the way
For pale moonlight whose mere flash
Sets on fuming flames the lifeless sea
As the last sign of life crumbles to ash
